MESON’S MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM
'Amaze the world with technology and make great achievements from Japan.' This is what Kent Kajitani wants to realize. To achieve this ambition with spatial computing technology, Kent and Yuki Kobayashi founded MESON in 2017. Since then, MESON has grown with a multidisciplinary team of creatives who have unique backgrounds and passion for augmenting human experiences and possibilities.
AGILE METHODOLOGIES AND BORDERLESS COLLABORATION
While each member has his or her own fields of speciality, we work as a multidisciplinary team with borderless communication and collaboration. Combining individuals’ skills, knowledge, and experiences, we practice agile methodologies and deliver outputs with keen attention to details.
TEAM COLLABORATION ON PLANNING
Planning is the most important phase . To explore the value that had never existed and to propose it to society, we develop in-depth insights into humanity and carefully build project plans through both friendly conversation and serious discussion. We continue to have a discussion until we build a project plan that we all can believe.
TWO SIDES OF MESON VENUE
MESON office has two sides. One is a place for discussion. In a comfortable working environment with music, we have active discussion and are ngaged in team collaboration. The other side is a place for concentration. Keeping an appropriate distance from the team, we can concentrate our individual tasks. These two aspects make our office a space where we feel harmony of comfortability and sensitivity.
CULTURE AS A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
At MESON, we draw inspiration from cultures. In our office, we have items and objects we have collected from a wide range of genres, such as music and art. They are our sources of ideas. Through active interaction with cultures, we get fresh inspiration for ideas and clues to generate unique concepts.
MESON VALUE / HASHTAG
UNDER OUR VALUE SYSTEM WE CALL “HASHTAG,” WE ARE COMMITTED TO CREATING SERVICES AND PRODUCTS THAT MAKE POSITIVE IMPACTS ON SOCIETY. HASHTAG works as guideline for reviewing individuals’ achievements, maintaining team collaboration, and enhancing overall performance of the team.
